Discover the jewel of Philippe Rice, a 1937 Ford truck completely transformed to the American typical restomod trend.
Here is a glimpse of the history of this beautiful truck:
This vehicle is equipped with a metallic gold-brown 347 cubic “stroker” engine with a 174 Series Pro-Street boost system assembled in California by a
local engine builder. Imagine the roaring power under the hood!
Custom stainless steel exhaust system adds a touch of sophistication and aggressiveness at the same time.
The C4 transmission coupled with a 9-inch Ford differential guarantees exceptional performance. TCI front suspension with “coil-over”
A-arms, and TCI 4-link “coil-over” rear suspension provide smooth and stable ride. And to top it off, an air suspension on all four wheels allows the height to be
adjusted perfectly.
VINTAGE LOOK WHEELS
The front 17-inch and rear 18-inch Raceline wheels with chrome finish and sections matching the color of the body look simply stunning, while the Achilles
tires ensure optimal grip on the road. The Wilwood brake system ensures powerful and reliable braking.
The colour "Natural Khaki Pearl" from Hyundai gives this pickup a refined and unique look. The polished paint of the "Show n shine" type shines brightly under
the sun, highlighting every curve of the vehicle. Custom front and rear wings, as well as 2-inch wider footpegs add a unique and elegant touch to this pickup.
AN ALL-LEATHER INTERIOR
The custom leather interior offers luxurious comfort, with an original leather-covered steering wheel and Dakota digital dials for a modern touch.
Philippe fell in love with this truck built by a resident of the Los Angeles area and bought it. While there were still some finishing touches and finishing details to complete, such as the
colour of the engine that didn’t match with the rest of the vehicle, Showtime Musclecars took care of the improvements needed to perfect this truck.
Phillipe, who already owns a 1937 Dodge truck of this size, dreams of owning one truck from each manufacturer that same year, according to Roger Ouellet’s
recollections.
The 1937 modified Ford pickup from Philippe Rice made its debut on display under his new ownership, attracting all eyes and admiration. A true automobile sculpture worthy of the
finest achievements of its kind in Canada!
This is a beautiful 1955 Chevrolet 3100 truck, painted in an elegant metallic gray. This masterpiece is owned by Michel. Mike Custom, who started it at the beginning of the COVID pandemic with an initial budget of $100,000.
The truck is based on a custom chassis made by TCI. Under the hood is a 2018 Corvette LT1 engine, delivering an impressive 480 horsepower.
SOME STYLISH WHEELS
The 20-inch, 15-spoke custom-built wheels by California Custom Wheel match the body colour and are fitted with Michelin Pilot Sport tyres for optimum grip.
Wildwood’s 14-inch 6-piston brakes and Airlift air suspension ensure exceptional braking and driving performance.
The colour of the body, painted with Sikkens products, matches the customer’s 2000’s Porsche color. After reflection during the pandemic, final investment
reached $330,000. An interesting detail: the door lock is integrated in the push button of the handle.
A BESPOKE INTERIOR
The interior, made of custom leather by QCK, offers comfort and elegance. The window opening handles, preserved for their charm, allow an electric opening of the windows by
pushing them down. Only the cab is original, while the rest of the body consists of carefully adjusted replica parts for a perfect finish.
It took 3 years of work to build this jewel, including a removable box floor, nicknamed by me as a "frame show off removable floor". This 1955 Chevrolet 1300 is more
than just a vehicle, it’s the result of exceptional passion and devotion.
Dino Traiforos is the proud owner of a 1967 Ford Mustang Fastback, a true automobile legend cut for the "Time Attack" on circuit.
THE HEART OF THE BEAST
Sporting a sleek black dress, this 1967 Mustang GT hides under its hood a 450-horsepower V8 Ford 351 Windsor engine tamed for racing, ready to gallop at full
speed on roads and circuits. Its modified T5 manual 5-speed gearbox offers the most exhilarating driving experience.
The power train (engine, gearbox, transmission shaft and differential), made by MGR Perfomance a specialized workshop, and other components such as suspension, cooling system, as
well as safety additions such as seats, the harness and running net, were installed and maintained with meticulous care by Dino himself.
THE WHEELS WITH VINTAGE LOOK AND WHAT COMES WITH THEM!
Featuring black 16x8 inch 5-spoke Fast XXR wheels wrapped in Toyo Proxes R888R 245/45/16 tires, this car is ready to take on any challenge.
Kelsey Hayes 4-piston front and rear drum brakes provide impressive stopping power.
The combined double threaded adjustable suspension by Viking Performance and the leaf springs lowered by Global West, accompanied by the Panhard bar of
Maier Racing at the rear, ensure a stable and impeccable road holding.
A COCKPIT WORTHY OF A FIGHTER
In the cockpit, Enzo leather racing seats and RJS racing seat belts provide exceptional comfort and support.
With 14 years of ownership, Dino has always had a deep interest in the 1960s Mustangs, especially those used in the Trans-Am series races. The transformation of his vehicle was
therefore a natural and inevitable evolution, perfectly aligned with his passion for these iconic models.
This black 1967 Mustang GT fastback embodies both power and elegance, reflecting Dino’s love and dedication to these legendary cars.
So here is the acceleration racing beast of Roger Ouellet able to drive in the low 8 seconds, a 1971 Chevrolet Vega transformed into a dreamy dragster!
This car nicknamed Red Rocket is equipped with a 565 cubic inch engine producing 950 horsepower, combined with a Power-Glide
Hughes automatic transmission with Trans-Brake.
Roger is always ready to fight on the quarter mile track with anyone who wants to face him.
A MONSTER OF POWER
With 15x3.5 front and 15x14 rear weld wheels, and Hoosier Drag tires (25x4.5-15 front and 32x14.5-15 back), this monster is built for pure performance and grip at the
start.
Wildwood 2 brakes, front and rear, as well as the Strange coil over suspension, offer total control and unmatched straight-line stability.
A RECORD-BREAKING CAR
This car does not have a classic seat, but you will find an aluminum seat and back. The car was originally built in Phoenix, Arizona by Michael L. Biodrowski and
Roger made several upgrades and improvements at Showtime Musclecars.
Since 2014, Roger is the proud owner of this impressive machine, dedicated exclusively to acceleration races. When Roger boarded his 1971 Vega, he was ready to burn the track
with C-16 gasoline with a 100 to 102 octane and push the speed limits by riding in 8 seconds low!
Restored with passion by the talented team at Nankoo Design, Clément Verreault’s beautiful 1969 Buick Skylark is certainly not unnoticed for its orange color.
Under the hood, you’ll find an original GM 350 engine, carefully painted in black and orange for a look of eye-catching. C4 transmission ensures
smooth and powerful performance. Inspired by a friend’s orange Plymouth Duster, the body is in a vibrant Fiat Mandarine body colour that will catch everyone’s
eye.
STYLISH WHEELS WITH LARGE DIAMETER
For a touch of modernity, the chrome parts have been replaced by an elegant matt black, perfectly matching with the interior while keeping a "naked" type carbon fiber air intake.
Completed three years ago, this car has proudly driven on more standard-sized wheels, but Clément decided to go further with 24 inch 6 double spokes DUB rims dress up with
Pirelli tires.
However, some adjustments will be needed to make this beauty ride safely on these impressive wheels.
A RATHER CONVENTIONAL INTERIOR
In the cabin, the original authenticity is in style with vinyl seats, retaining the original look of the 1969 Buick Skylark.
When it first took part in an event in the Zone Performance, this car was able to captivate the attention and turn heads.
It can be said that Clément Verreault and his 1969 Buick Skylark never go unnoticed!
Let me introduce you to a marvel of the Montreal customised car scene, a 1993 Dodge Colt from a Team Refugee member so modified that it's not possible to recognize the car.
With a 4G63T 4-cylinder engine delivering an impressive 450 horsepower of civilized, this purple 1993 Dodge Colt is equipped with a completely
rebuilt 5-speed manual transmission, ensuring exceptional performance on the road.
RIDE FOR SPEED AND SOUND
The 3-part 20x9 front and 20x12 rear Avant Garde wheels, fitted with 305/25/20 Falken tyres, offer good grip and outstanding style.
Brembo 4-piston brakes on all four wheels ensure powerful and precise braking, while the fully adjustable K Sport suspension ensures flawless handling.
READY FOR SEMA 2025?
Sparco carbon fibre seats covered in black fabric add a touch of sportiness and comfort to the interior.
Built in collaboration with Nankoo Design and RSM Mechanics, this car was built to be presented at the SEMA later this year, one of the most
prestigious auto events in the world. The owner, who has owned this car since 2002, always dreamed of owning a unique and high-performance car, and this 1993 Dodge Colt is
considered as re-beaded is the perfect example.
The parts installed on this car include:
• Custom 13-inch enlarged body kit
• Conversion before Evo X
• Aston Martin GT3 rear conversion
• Fully customized carbon fiber interior
• Custom audio setup in carbon fiber rear seats
• Custom audio/video setup in the trunk
This customised 1993 Dodge Colt is much more than a vehicle, it is a real exhibition jewel, the result of the desire of its owner to reach the highest heights. Donated by his
mother, the car represents not only an exceptional performance but also a strong personal and sentimental bond, making every moment behind the wheel even more special.
Meet the beast!
Chris Nankoo’s 1987 GMC S15 is not just a truck, it is a work of art modified to the core.
Under the hood, there is a roaring 515 Italian pure-bred horsepower Ferrari V12 engine, coupled with a 6-speed manual transmission. Yes, you read right, a Ferrari
under the hood of a GMC truck!
SOME EYE-CATCHING WHEELS
This pickup rides on 22x11 inch MHT M10 rims at the rear and 20x10 inch at the front, fitted with BF Goodrich G-Force 245/30/20 and 285/35/22 tires. And to tame
all that power, 13-inch 4-piston brake components are installed front and rear.
The front and rear suspension, tubular stainless steel, were custom-made by Cailloux Rod Shop, and to top it off, this truck is equipped with an adjustable hydraulic suspension
allowing a lowering of the body (body drop) 6-inch, as well as a carbon fibre rear wing.
And to top it off, a roof has been lowered 4 inches, completing this legendary truck of car customization.
The bodywrok painting? A work of art by Eric Thifault.
A LEGEND REVIVED
This truck, owned by Nankoo Design since 2002, is a real show truck for now, but it has not always had this star life.
Before being restored in eight days for the 2025 Montreal Auto Show, Chris and the team at Nankoo Design, it has been hanging out at the back of the yard since
Chris’s father retired in 2007.
A PRESENCE NOTICED AT SEMA SHOW IN ITS GOLDEN ERA
With such an exceptional model, it is no surprise that this truck won the Dub Tour in 2006 and was the first Canadian vehicle to win at the Funkmaster Flex Show
in addition to being exhibited at SEMA in 2006 (see photo opposite) and the CES in the Earthquake booth, a sound system company.
In short, this 1987 GMC S-15 is much more than a truck. It is a project of passion that involved many people and complex construction phases. Chris Nankoo and
his team at Nankoo Design have created a legend on wheels.
So here is the 1959 Chevrolet El Camino by Abel Giroux, a true low rider style masterpiece that is a car style modified to drive very low on the ground, often equipped with hydraulic or pneumatic suspension systems to control the height of the vehicle!
A California law forbids the chassis to be lower than the lower part of the wheels. Lowrider culture entered Quebec in the 1980s.
Abel has been the proud owner of this wonder since 2020, a year when his dream to have a 1959 El Camino became a reality. This car, built by Abel himself at the Montreal
Lowrider workshop, perfectly embodies the street car low rider style.
Under the hood, there is a powerful 5.3-litre LS V8 engine, combined with a 4L60 automatic transmission.
A LOW RIDER WITH STYLE
The Dayton 13-inch gold wire wheels, fitted with 5.20 Cooker tires, add a stylish and distinctive touch to this classic beauty. Wilwood
double-piston brakes ensure optimum safety and control.
The Hoppos suspension, equipped with 4 pumps and 8 interstates batteries, allows spectacular hopping movements thanks to 18-inch cylinders at the rear and 8-inch at the front. In
the interior, the original seats, upholstered by Humberto Bernal, add a touch of comfort and style.
Abel’s frame-off restoration process and LS engine swap were challenges, but he is proud of it. Even if it wasn’t perfect, the love and passion invested in this project is obvious.
This 1959 Chevrolet El Camino is more than just a car, it reflects the determination and creativity of Abel Giroux. When he takes the wheel, it is a whole
universe of low rider culture that reveals itself.
The Luxurious Montreal club presented a second vehicle, the 1987 Oldsmobile Cutlass by Abel Giroux, a true icon of low rider style!
Under the hood, this beauty is equipped with a 5.3-liter LS V8 engine, coupled to a 4L60 automatic transmission.
Red and chrome engraved 13-inch Zenith wheels add a touch of class to the car, while Suretrac 155/55/13 tires and original brakes provide optimum grip and
safety.
The double pump suspension with 14 batteries on board and 20-inch telescopic cylinders at the rear and 8-inch at the front allows this Oldsmobile to make impressive
"hopping" movements. In the cockpit, the original seats, upholstered by Humberto Bernal, offer comfort and style.
FROM MEXICO TO QUEBEC VIA ARIZONA
Built in Mexico by Gavilan Custom in Mexicali, this Oldsmobile is specifically designed for low rider hopping competitions. Abel has been the
proud owner since 2022 and has already come a long way with it from Mexico.
The first time Abel Giroux participated in a "hopping" event was in Puerto Peñasco, Mexico. There are people from all over the world out there and very
high caliber "hoppers". People over there had no idea that we had world class lowriders in Canada. Abel won the hopping contest and people still talk about it today.
Abel likes to compete in these competitions because they constantly push his limits. The challenge for him is to blow up the car higher and higher, making each win even more enjoyable.
This 1987 Oldsmobile Cutlass is more than just a car, it’s a reflection of Abel Giroux’s passion and determination, and a living celebration of the low rider
culture that showcases free trade in North America.
