La 2è journée du Concours d’Élégance de Greenwich présente des voitures européennes.
En cette année des 100 ans de BMW, ce fut une belle occasion de présenter une jolie brochette de voitures surtout construite après 1950.

The 2nd day of the Greenwich Concours d'Elegance was to honor international cars.
In this year of 100 years of BMW, it was a great opportunity to present a nice bunch of cars mostly built after 1950.
FERRARI
Il y avait un bon groupe de Ferrari dont une de l’année 1949, la Ferrari 166S proposant un look très arrondi. Une victorieuse des 24 heures du Mans en 1961, la fameuse Ferrari 250 TRi/61 de la Scuderia N.E. y furent exposées ainsi qu’une victorieuse d’un prix platine du Cavallino Classic de West Palm Beach, la Ferrari 250 GT Tour de France 1958.
There was a good group of Ferrari, starting with the oldest one build in 1949, the Ferrari 166S that offers a very rounded look . A victorious 24 Hours of Le Mans in 1961, the famous Ferrari 250 TRi/61 Scuderia NE were on display as well as a winner of “platine award” the Cavallino Classic held in West Palm Beach, the 1958 Ferrari 250 GT Tour de France.

Les autres Ferrari présente étaient une 308 GT Spyder 1982, une GTB365 Daytona 1973, une 365 GT4 2+2
1973, la 250 GT SWB Berlinetta 1962, la 365 GTC/4 1972 qui inspira GM pour la Chevrolet Monza et bien entendu la Ferrari 400 Superamerica
1961 bleu utilisée sur l’affiche officiel du concours.
De photographier ces Ferrari m’a rappelé mes visites au Cavallino Classic durant lesquelles j’ai appris à photographier une voiture
sport.

The other Ferrari was a 1982 308 GT Spyder, a 1973 365 GTB/4 Daytona, a 1973 365 GT4 2+2, a 1962 250 GT SWB Berlinetta, the 1972 365 GTC/4, which inspired GM for the Chevrolet Monza and of course the 1961 Ferrari 400 Superamerica in blue used on the Concours official poster.
By photographing those Ferraris, it reminded me my visits to the Cavallino Classic over the years, during which I learned how to shoot a sports car the beautiful way.
LAMBORGHINI • MASERATI • CISITALIA • ISO
Un très beau groupe d’italiennes autres que Ferrari y fut rassemblé telle qu’une très sexy Lamborghini Miura S 1970 en noire, une belle Lamborghini Countach 1975 bleu de première génération, une intéressante et unique Maserati 1967 dessinée par Frua, une Moretti Sportiva S2 1970, une Maserati Kyalami 1977, une Cisitalia 1100 Colombo Sport 1950 et une Iso Grifo 1969 équipée d’un moteur Chevrolet 427 de couleur bleue.
A very nice Italian group other than Ferrari was reunited such a sexy dressed in black 1970 Lamborghini Miura S, a blue 1975 Lamborghini Countach of the early years, an interesting, a unique Maserati designed by Frua in 1967, a 1970 Moretti Sportiva S2, a 1977 Maserati Kyalami, a 1950 Cisitalia Colombo 1100 Sport and a 1969 Iso Grifo painted in blue and equipped with a Chevrolet 427 engine.
MORGAN • ASTON MARTIN • DAIMLER • MG • JAGUAR
De très belles voitures de marques britanniques ont fait le déplacement au concours telles qu’une Morgan Plus 4 Roadster 1953, une Jaguar XK-120 OTS 1953, une très rare Aston Martin DB2/4 1954 décapotable, une Daimler Conquest convertible 1955, une MGA 1959 Roadster turquoise, une Aston Martin DB5 coupé 1964, une Aston Martin DB6 Volante 1967 noire, une Jaguar E-Type serie 1 Roadster 1967 et une plus moderne Aston Martin V8 Vantage Volante 1987.
Some beautiful examples of British car brands made show up to the concours such a 1953 Morgan Plus 4 Roadster, a 1953 Jaguar XK120 OTS, a rare 1954 Aston Martin DB2/4 Convertible, a 1955 Daimler Conquest Convertible, a turquoise 1959 MGA Roadster, a 1964 Aston Martin DB5 Coupe, a 1967 Aston Martin DB6 Volante painted in black, a 1967 Jaguar E-Type series 1 Roadster and a more modern Aston Martin V8 Vantage Volante built in 1987.
PORSCHE
Du côté de Porsche, on y remarqua une seccession de modèles de la 356, comme une Cabriolet 1955, une Speedster 1958 noire, une 912 Targa 1968 d’un beau vert olive, une 911 RS 1973, une 914 LE 1974, une 911 Turbo 1987 et la très moderne 918 Spyder 2015 à motorisation hybride de couleur noire.
On the Porsche display, there was some noticed model seccession of the 356 like a 1955 Cabriolet, a black 1958 Speedster, a beautiful olive green 1968 912 Targa, a 1973 911 RS, a 1974 914 LE, a 1987 911 Turbo and the very modern 2015 918 hybrid Spyder in black color.
MERCEDES-BENZ
Mercedes-Benz offre quelques réalisations notables comme une légendaire 300SL Gullwing 1955, une extravaguante 300 Type D W189 Cabrio circa 1960 à 4 portes, une 230S Fintail 1966, une 250C 1970 Coupe, et une belle et joliment conservée 280 SE 3.5 cabriolet 1971 de couleur brune.
Mercedes-Benz offers a few notable automobiles as a legendary 1955 300SL Gullwing, a circa 1960 extravaguante 4 doors 300 Type D W189 Cabrio, a 1966 230S Fintail, a 1970 250C Coupe, and a nice and beautifully preserved brown 1971 280 SE 3.5 Cabriolet.
BMW
Le Greenwish Concours souligna les 100 ans d’activité de BMW avec une section spéciale bien remplis de modèles des plus intéressants tels qu’une rare 328 MM Bugelfalt 1937, participante des 24 heures du Mans cette même année et aux Mille Miglia 1938, une 3200 CS 1965, une petite sportive, la 1600 GT 1967, une 507 Roadster 1960, une CS et CSL Coupe, toutes 2 de l’année 1973, une 2002 Turbo 1974, une Alpina C2 2.5 1986 bleue foncée et décorée de lignes fines dorées et une 635 CSI 1986.
Une Veritas 1949 motorisé par un moteur 6 cylindre d’une BMW 328 était aussi exposé.
The Greenwish Concours highlighted the BMW 100 years of activity with a special section well filled with the most interesting models such a rare 1937 328 MM Bugelfalt that raced at the 1937 24 hours of Le Mans and the 1938 Mille Miglia, a 1965
3200 CS, a small sport car, the 1967 1600 GT, a 1960 507 Roadster, a CS and CSL Coupe, all 2 built in 1973, a 1974 2002 Turbo, a 1986 Alpina C2 2.5 with dark blue and decorated gold stripes and a 1986 CSI 635.
A 1949 Veritas race car equipped with the 6-cylinder engine of the BMW 328 was also on display.
LANCIA • PORSCHE • BMW • MERCEDES-BENZ
Une classe de voitures sports y était représentée par des bolides inspirés de leur version de course.
On pouvait y contempler une Lancia Statos 1975, une Porsche 924 Carrera GTS Clubsport 1980, une BMW M1 1980, une Lancia 037 Coupe 1982, une autre Lancia Delta S4 1986 à motorisation arrière et une Mercedes-Benz 190 Evo2 Sedan 1991.
A sports car class was represented by inspiring race cars in street legal version.
You could contemplate a 1975 Lancia Stratos, a 1980 Porsche 924 Carrera GTS Clubsport, a 1980 BMW M1, a 1982 Lancia 037 Coupe, another 1986 Lancia Delta S4 with a rear engine and a 1991 Mercedes-Benz 190 Sedan Evo2.
Quelques motos sport étaient aussi exposé dans ce groupe comme une Ducati Supermono 1995, 2 Triumph et 2 BMW dont la R67/2 1954 qui obtint la faveur des juges.
Some sport bikes were also on display in this group like a 1995 Ducati Supermono, 2 Triumph and 2 BMW with the R67/2 1954, that won the favor of the judges.
CISITALIA • FORD • CITROËN • ALFA ROMEO • SAAB • FIAT • SABRA • PEUGEOT • MASERATI
Dans les autos de provenances diverses (France, Israël, Italie, Suède) on pouvait y voir une Cisitalia 2002 Vignale Spyder 1947, une Ford Comète Monté-Carlo 1954, une Citroën Traction 1955 et 2CV 1964, une Alfa Romeo 1900 Super 1957, une Saab 93B 1958, une Fiat 600D 1960, une rare Sabra GT 1964, une Peugeot 404C 1967, une Peugeot 205 GTi 1988, une sublime Maserati Ghibli convertible 1971.

BEST OF THE BEST
Étant l’occasion de la 20e édition de ce concours, une section “best of the best” des 20 dernières années y fut mise en place.
Des merveilles telles qu’une Delage D-6 1939, une Jaguar XK-120M 1954, une Cisitalia 202C 1951 de couleur turquoise pastel métallique, une Bentley 4,5 L Tourer 1928 et une Tatra T87 Diplomat 1941 se laissait admirer sur le bord de l'eau.
With the 20th edition of the concours, a section "best of the best" of the past 20 years was on display.
Wonders such as a 1939 Delage D-6, a 1954 Jaguar XK 120M, a 1951 Cisitalia 202C with a turquoise metallic pastel body color, a 1928 Bentley 4.5 L Tourer, a Tatra T87 Diplomat built in 1941 let enjoy themself by the waterfront.
Pour ce qui est des voitures d’avant-guerre on y trouvait une Bentley 4.25L Pheaton 1937, une Brough Superior 1936, une MG TB 1939 entre autres.
In term of pre-war cars, there was a 1937 Bentley 4.25L Pheaton, a 1936 Brough Superior and a 1939 MG TB among others to look at.
Le véhicule gagnant du prix “Best of show” de la journée internationale, fut la Brough Superior Drophead 1936, propriété de Nick Grewal.
The "Best of show" award winning vehicle for the international day was the Brough Superior Drophead 1936, owned by Nick Grewal.
