Le “Muscle car Matchup” est une expo-concours mettant en vedette des voitures classiques, musclées et exotiques construites pour la performance et étant en excellente condition pour être exposée.
La sélection des huit voitures exposées le fût par le personnel du salon. Un grand prix de $5000 est donné au gagnant.
Un panel de juge regroupant l’équipe de spécialistes automobile du salon, Peter et Gary Klutt, animateurs de l’émission de télévision “Legendary Motorcar” à être octroyé le 26 février 2017.

The "Muscle car Matchup" is an expo-contest featuring classic, muscle and exotic cars built for performance with an excellent condition to be exhibited.
The selection of the 8 cars displayed was chosen by the staff of the show. A grand prize of $ 5000 is given to the winner.
A panel of judges gathering the Canadian Auto Show team of automotive specialists, Peter and Gary Klutt, animators of the television show "Legendary Motorcar" will be awarded on February 26, 2017.
DODGE DART SWINGER 1971
Achetée en Alabama pour $18000, la Dodge Swinger fut restaurée par George Vigh, un grand fervent des Mopar.
Il opta pour un look “pro-street”, amenant l’auto à diverses expositions, soirée rencontre et sur le quart de mile (11.43 à 118 mph) pour lui faire vivre ce qu’elle mérite.
SPÉCIFICATIONS:

• Cylindrée: 408 pouces cube “stroké”
• Puissance: 525 chevaux
• Carrosserie tout acier avec capot à double prise d’air
• Couleur: Viper Blue Metallic 2010 avec une bande décorative blanche.

DODGE DART SWINGER 1971
Purchased in Alabama for $ 18,000, the Dodge Swinger was restored by George Vigh, a great devotee of the Mopar.
He opted for a "pro-street" look, bringing the car to various exhibitions, night meets and on the quarter mile (11.43 to 118 mph) to make it live what it deserves.

• Power: 525 horsepower
• All-steel body with dual-air hood air intake
• Color: Viper Blue Metallic 2010 with a white decorative bee strip.

FORD GT500 ELEANOR 1967
Propriétaire d’une concession automobile à Lloydminster, Alberta.
Le goût de Randy Westlake pour la GT500 Eleanor fut développé, comme beaucoup d’amateur de Mustang, lors de la sortie au cinéma en 2000 du film Parti en 60 secondes. Il réalisa son rêve de posséder une réplique de cette fameuse Eleanor qui en fit fantasmer plus d’un.
La Mustang fut trouvée dans la région de Vancouver. Elle avait un gros bloc d’origine.
Seuls des freins à disque, une transmission manuelle Tremec t-56 à 6 vitesses.
FORD GT500 ELEANOR 1967
Owner of a car and truck dealership in Lloydminster, Alberta Randy Westlake.
Randy Westlake taste for the GT500 Eleanor was developed, as many Mustang fans in 2000, with the launch of the Gone in 60 seconds movie. He realized his dream of owning a replica of this famous Eleanor that made fantasize more than one car guy.
The Mustang was found in the Vancouver area. It had a large original block.
Only disc brakes, a manual 6-speed Tremec t-56 transmission.
FERRARI F40 1991
Préparée pour la piste, cette Ferrari F40 de Phil Trigiani de Mississauga, Ontario fut achetée d’une célébrité vivant au Japon.
Le siège du conducteur fut adapté au propriétaire. Il fit sa première sortie sur circuit le 22 septembre 2016, date mémorable pour lui rappelant les moments durant lequel il dompta sa nouvelle bête sur quelques tours.

FERRARI F40 1991
Prepared for the track, this Ferrari F40 is owned by Phil Trigiani of Mississauga, Ontario and was bought from a celebrity living in Japan.
The driver's seat was adapted to the owner body. He made his first outing on the circuit on September 22, 2016, a memorable date to remind him of the moments during which he tamed his new beast on a few laps.

CORVETTE ZR-1 1994
Mike Gill est un grand fanatic de voiture, d’Ayrton Senna surtout de Corvette haute performance.
La Corvette ZR-1 exposée durant le “matchup est sa vision de ce modèle dont il tomba amoureux à son adolescence. Spécialement créés pour cette voiture, les rayons des roues adoptent le même profil de la carrosserie ajoutant un effet de largeur.
À l’intérieur, un système de son digne d’une discothèque y a été installé. La voiture abrite sous son capot, un moteur LT5 V8 designé par Lotus couplé à une transmission manuelle à 6 vitesses. Des freins à disques Baer ayant un étrier à 6 pistons à l’avant et 2 à l’arrière.
La Corvette ZR-1 de M. Gill fut la 13e fabriqué sur 448 et la première peinte en Amiral Blue sur 44 en 1994.
CORVETTE ZR-1 1994
Mike Gill is a huge car fanatic, from Ayrton Senna and mostly high-performance Corvettes.
The Corvette ZR-1 exposed during the matchup is his vision of this model which he fell in love with his teen years. Especially created for this car, the spokes of the wheels adopt the same profile of the bodywork adding a width effect.
Inside, a sound system worthy of a disco was installed there. The car hides under its hood, a LT5 V8 engine designed by Lotus coupled with a 6-speed manual transmission. Baer disc brakes with a 6-piston callipers at the front and 2 at the back.
Mr. Gill's Corvette ZR-1 was the 13th manufactured on 448 and the first painted in Admiral Blue on 44 in 1994.
PONTIAC TRANS AM 1977
Trouvée sur une ferme localisé à Mont Albert en Ontario dans un état défraichi sans pour autant être rouillé, cette Pontiac Trans Am couta seulement $1000 à John Antoniadis de Toronto, Ontario qui entreprit de la restaurer dans les règles de l’art.
La voiture n’avait que 36000 miles et était entreposée depuis 1982. Le moteur de 400 pouces cube d’origine reçu un traitement de faveur étant “stroké” à 472 pouces cubes et possèdant une puissance de 500 chevaux.
La voiture conserve né en moins son look d’usine allant jusqu'au radio AM/FM cassette 8 pistes.
PONTIAC TRANS AM 1977
Found on a barn in Mount Albert, Ontario, in a state of unrestrained but not rusty condition, this Pontiac Trans Am cost only $ 1,000 to John Antoniadis of Toronto, Ontario, who undertook to restore it to the state of the art.
The car had only 36,000 miles and was stored since 1982. The original 400-cube engine received special treatment being "stroked" to 472 cubic inches and possessing 500 horsepower.
The car keeps born less its factory look going up to the AM/FM 8-track cassette radio.
CAMARO Z28 1977
Surnommée “Beaterbee”, cette Camaro achetée en Floride est un hommage à la Camaro du premier film Transformer.
Ryan-William Buchanan et son père sont venu bien près d’acheter une des voitures du film qui était listée sur Ebay. Le but d’avoir une réplique de la Camaro du premier film fut atteint après 2 ans de travail.
Beaterbee fut exposée à l’occasion d’évènement organisé par Chevrolet, Hasbro Toys et Paramount Pictures.

CAMARO Z28 1977
Nicknamed "Beaterbee", this Camaro was bought in Florida is a tribute to the Camaro of the first Transformer movie.
Ryan-William Buchanan and his father came very close to buying one of the cars of the film that was listed on Ebay. The goal of having a replica of the Camaro of the first film was reached after 2 years of work.
Beaterbee was exhibited at an event hosted by Chevrolet, Hasbro Toys and Paramount Pictures.

1973 PANTERA
Trouvée dans une grange dans le nord de l’État de New York, la Pantera 1973 fut ramener par David Cantagallo réalisant ainsi un rêve de plus de 40 ans.
La Pantera fut achetée neuve en Californie et fut amené dans l’État de New York à sa retraite. La voiture fut repeinte et restaurée à son état d’origine, comme dans son souvenir de jeunesse.
Les seules modifications réalisées sur la voiture furent l’installation d’un radiateur en aluminium, un silencieux en acier inoxydable et quelques autres pièces du même matériel relié au refroidissement du moteur.
1973 PANTERA
Found on a barn in northern New York State, the 1973 Pantera was brought back by David Cantagallo achieving a dream of more than 40 years old.
The Pantera was bought new in California and brought to New York State upon retirement of its owner. The car was repainted and restored to its original state, as in its youthful memory.
The only modifications made on the car were the installation of an aluminum radiator, a stainless steel exhaust and some other parts of the same material connected to the cooling engine system.
CORVETTE 1966
La Corvette 1966 de ce texte fut acheté en paire par Tony Basile de Richmond Hill, Ontario. Le lieu de vente était localisé dans le nord-ouest de l’Ontario et les 2 Corvette devaient être vendues ensemble.
Un moteur 327 pouces cubes, d’une puissance de 350 chevaux équipe la Corvette qui nous intéresse l’autre ayant un gros bloc sous le capot. La voiture est pratiquement originale de par ses composantes.
La voiture fut repeinte. Sa transmission Muncie M21 à 4 vitesses fut restaurée. Elle est la 13446e Corvette construite sur un total de 27000 unités fabriquée. Elle est une des 9958 coupés bâti cette année-là.

The Corvette 1966 of this text was bought in pairs by Tony Basile of Richmond Hill, Ontario. The seller was located in northwestern Ontario and the 2 Corvettes were had to be sold together.
